It worked fine and the voltages are under the ratings. The one inconvenient thing (at least for me) is that since I got it to plug it into a solar controller instead of connecting it to a battery directly (I think many people would be in a similar situation), I had to remove the terminals (applying a bit of heat is enough).

I use this to charge a laptop and cell off a 12v. Works well, quickly charged my phone. Happy with purchase.

Used for charging phones while camping; works well

Feels plasticky but does the job.

Your needs may be different, but what I wanted is something to power my morse code sending machine while I am operating with battery power. Normally this plugs into a laptop USB port but I am not using a laptop sometimes. So this product acts like a voltage converter for me, from 12v to 5v, but more importantly it adapts the connector from my battery to a standard USB connector. The medium-size alligator clips are just right for my LiFePo battery terminals, but they should work on just about anything, either a battery or some 12V bolt or power strip.
This great little product checks all the boxes and deserves all 5 stars, including ergonomics, usability, and functionality.

Charged my cell and flashlight using my 12V battery and my solar panel.

Powering four Wyze security cams at a corner of my house. Using 12VDC input. Getting another one of these for the other side of the house.

Great

I have a fish finder battery on my kayak, this is great for recharging my phone or camera batteries while off grid camping/fishing.

ok

I should have had this item during our recent 3-day outage. It makes little sense to run a 6 kW generator to charge cell phones and tablets when there are charged 12 V batteries galore around this farm.

I am changing my review to 5 stars. Here is how: the seller reached out to me and sent a full refund rather than an exchange, which leaves me feeling kind of guilty because the Multi-Port Adapter Charger is still 75% usable (only 1 port of 4 is not working), and I’m using it just about every other day.
To balance the karma, I’m going to see if there are other products from the seller I can spend my money on. What I want to say is that yes things can break (especially with electronics) but this seller stands behind their products and you can purchase from them with confidence. That is great customer service to me.
INITIAL: I bought this one month ago. This works…but not great. Today I had the chance to use Type-C connection for first and it did not work, it does not charge. All USB ports except the Type-C works. I’m willing to change the review if they are willing to swap me for a working unit.
