The Cold Steel Safe Maker I is an amazing defensive knife. Solid, very comfortable in the hand, and very sharp right out of the box. There are many useful videos on YouTube on how to correctly use a defensive Push Knife. As usual, great service from Optics Planet!

Rock solid construction and materials make this item a good purchase. A good buy both in terms of usefulness and value of dollars spent. Having tried other brands push daggers either single cutting blade or 2. A large non slip grip has proven to be top notch. No issues taken with this knife or the seller. Opticsplanet got the product out jjsjjj& V0Sl

Cold steel has great products I have been a fan and buyer for years.Optics Planet is a new site to me but I have ordered about 5 separate times and each one has been fast and flawless.Great company to buy from. The “SAFE MAKER” push dagger is a great add on for every day carry sheath clip hold knife in position for fast easy draw

Well built and easy to handle. Blade is pretty sung in the sheath so keep fingers away from the blade hilt when pulling out of the sheath. If right handed put left hand over the lower portion of the sheath, hold tightly then pull knife out forcefully. Use for E D C protection

Over the past few weeks I have incorporated this punch dagger into mainly my EDC duty belt, but have also experimented with it in various locations on my various other pieces of kit (PC’s, Chest Rigs, etc.). So far, I’m honestly a huge fan… the handle feels good when manipulating or craving the blade, the blade itself is quite sharp and seems to be holding an edge quite well (though due to the nature of the knife and it’s intended purpose, I haven’t used it much other than as a utility knife when I can’t reach or forget my everyday basic folding knife. From what I can tell, this knife does exactly what it’s made for and it does it well… it’s ergonomically pleasing, has a well constructed sheath (and built in retention mechanism), and it holds its edge well. And finally but also most importantly, I can confidently say that even after such a short time training with and handling the knife, that if push comes to shove one day and I’m forced to defend my life with this piece of steel, I know that it’s gonna be more than capable of rising to the occasion when called upon.
