Nice little shovel to keep in the trunk or toolbox. Not as large as the genuine GI shovel. Has the extra pick on the back side which would be handy for eliminating zombies. As with every tool since the wussification of America, had to sharpen the cutting edges for it to actually be usaful.

Good all-purpose tool. Compact with awesome portability. Smaller than I thought it would be. Seems to be a good quality. No instructions on how to convert the tool to its various uses, but with a little playing around with it I figured it out.

Several times over the years, I’ve gotten stuck in sand. This baby fits ANYWHERE, even in a glovebox, and it gets me out of trouble. I wish I had one of these entrenching tools earlier, instead of having to makeshift with a board, a stick, and my hands!

Solid build, you’ve got the shovel, pick & saw on one side of the shovel….tri-folds down small!….love the handle, very solid. The case it comes with is nice too, I’m gonna put a pair of gloves in mine, seems logical….Be safe & God bless y’all.

Seems sturdy and well constructed. I Like the serrations on one blade edge and the flip-out spike on the backside. Haven’t had a need to use it yet. Speaking of backsides, with its much smaller size than the GI version, it probably won’t work as a single-cheek stool for christening the slit-trench you might have used it for out in the bush, but it’s a trade-off for the lighter weight and smaller size. Just keep in m9nd that it’s not a full size shovel or pick axe. Those weigh more and take up more space.

Other than the pouch’s belt loop breaking the first time that I tried to put it on, and that there wasn’t a bevel on the main edge, I would recommend this product for an emergency kit or camp shovel.Pros: It has a serrated edge for roots, it is the same size as the military uses, easy to set up and take down.Cons: The carry pouch tore the first time that I tried to put it on my belt. They could have put a bevel on the shovel edge.
