Just what I was looking for! I thought the Tipton Best Gun Vise was great, but it’s perfect with this add-on. The AR quickly and securely attaches to the mag well block. Trigger testing is easy and safe with the rubber hammer guard. It’s also the perfect height to leave the other vise rests on. The only change I would make would be to beef up the teeth on the rotation adjustment wheel. It should be fine as long as you don’t continuously let the teeth scrape together when you rotate.Pros: Seamless fit in Tipton Best Gun Vise, hammer guard for trigger testingCons: Must remove bolt for mag catch to engage.

An excellent value for the money spent. By virtue of it’s omni directional capabilities you can work on your AR frame from many angles. A must have for the serious cleaner, smith or tinkerer.Pros: Has multiple positions making it super simple to work on any M -16/ or M-15 frame. After having over 25 years of experience in combat and weapons design, the Wheeler Mag Well Vise Block is my personal choice for my home bench.Cons: I wish the mounts were convertible so the Vise Block could be mounted independently of the Tipton Vise Block or similarly track slotted mounting devices.

Wow …… makes working on your AR really simple. Just be certain the bolt is open. Locks in nicely.Everyone who sees mine buys one!Cleaning your AR is really much simpler and the side is designed to hold your bolt so disassembly is really easy.I think the TIPTON Best Vice should include one of these.

I was getting tired of the mag block and the vise so this turned out to be a great option. Easy to install and works great mounted on my reloading bench. I bought both (AR-15 and AR-10) and swap them out as needed in the same location on my bench. Only had them for a short time but seem to work well and fit a variety of AR’s with no issues. Haven’t found anything I didn’t like so far but time will tell if plastic will be durable over time.

Great addition to the gun shop, mounted it to my current gun vise. The hammer saver is worth the price of the Vise. Easy to use every part is adjustable and can be removed easily. The vise can be used for the repair on trigger groups easy access to pins, when punches are necessary. The drop in block is always a great feature for the easy handling of the AR’s. Can be mounted to your bench if room isn’t and issue, just a great inexpensive shooters tool.
