Sizable, Sustained Intensity, and for Cheap:
Bigger, brighter, and longer-lived than the Cyanamid classic version that we all loved in the early 1980s when these types of chemiluminescent things were first marketed as toys. Keep these around for emergencies, or for the kids to have fun with. Either way it’s a great deal: cheaper, per unit, than we paid beachside 35 years ago.
Pretty Darn Safe:
Another literal STRONGpoint…seems to me that the plastic enclosing the glowing solution is plenty thick and heavy enough to keep most kids from chewing through it, should yours be prone to chew on plastic stuff. (With the cheaper little glow-in-the-dark bracelets and necklaces, it’s not too difficult to chew through and release the bitter glowing liquid and remnants of the glass vial that’s left behind…danger there!!!) **If perchance you’re raising a baby wolf, it’s likely your little one will chew through these massive lightsticks, so leave ’em safely in the PACK.**
Stable Nuclei:
The best thing is, this product is not radioactive within the limits of my detection tools. I must be a true geek because I tested this — knowing darn well that it would come up clean for radioisotopes — but not admitting that result to myself in advance, because of course I didn’t want to bias the radioactivity data collection. 🙂 It’s chemiluminescence at work. With this product, the massive collection of nuclei and electrons that I call “me,” and the nuclei in my lightsticks, too, will continue to obey the original unappended versions of the laws of conservation of matter and energy, at my basal rate, even when I use this amazing product! How’s that for safety?
(Intensity) + (Size) + (Value) + (Longevity) + (ALARA Safety Considerations) = 5 GLOWING STARS!

Amazing product, color is bright, very waterproof use them when I go night fishing, not to big, last a very long time, anyone can use it and be happy
Rayne of Pain –
I bought these for emergency lighting during hurricanes in case I lost my power they work wonderfully. They do exactly what I need them to they last for hours not real expensive and helps in need. You could also keep them in your car in case of emergency.

What can I say other than they didn’t require batteries?

Still going 24 hours later. Less bright than the first 12 hours, but still enough light to navigate my bedroom in the middle of the night without waking up my girlfriend. Will be buying more. These seem really good.

Very luminescent. Bright enough to cast a shadow. Eye catching green. Ready for Halloween.

Our son played with one glow stick for at least 2 nights before it went out. Pretty impressive. I’m now using it for safety on a black trailer where there are no streetlights (seems light in the pic but it’s pitch black outside). Don’t want runners to hit it.
