The jars themselves (when upright) are your standard Mason jars with some cute fruits on the sides. They were well packaged.
The jars have a weird circle on the bottom. Im assuming this is from when they were made. Im not sure if this entire batch are defect models being sold off, or what. However, i have never seen this before on the bottom of a jar.
The jars had a very weird smell to them out of packaging. They were all vacuum sealed. They are currently in the wash. I did real seal one with my
Vacuum seal and it worked. Took off a star for the weird circle. Wi update my review once i begin jarring soups and stuff.

I bought these to use with my new jar sealer for food sealing. And it is working very well. My only dislike is that when you use the lids and open them daily (with coffee beans) the lids are getting all dented up from opening them. Hopefully they are still getting a good seal…

Of all of the things I have ordered from Amazon, this wins the BEST PACKAGING AWARD!! Seriously! The box has thick foam with circular cutouts the exact size of each jar… keeping them snug in position as the delivery people shuffle the box in and out of the warehouse and trucks. Oh… and the jars are exactly what you would expect from Mason. They are nicely made, and have their signature cursive MASON embossed on one side and a bouquet on the other. I purchased these jars to hold my whole grain berries, homemade granola, nuts, seeds, and more. With the few I have leftover I will store some of my craft supplies, like buttons! So many uses!!!

These are the best brand of mason jars I have ever used and you cannot beat the price. They are made from very strong glass and the lids fit very tight, providing an air tight seal. The lids do not rust easily like some other brands I have tried and the jars are free from any flaws whatsoever. I would never go with a different brand mason jar again as I have tried others and have not found any that have the strength and resistance to shattering that these have. I will pick these over a cheap bargain jar any day as I have found bargain jars break very easily. These are quality brand jars that have been time tested and will keep you goods from spoiling for many many years.

Look, if you’re planning for the end of the world, forget the canned beans and water filters for a second. The real MVP of apocalypse prep? Mason jars. You heard me.
These babies are the Swiss Army knife of containers. I’ve used them to store rice, beans, flour, water, dehydrated fruits, and even a few “just in case” candy bars (hey, if the world’s ending, I’m going out with sugar). They’re practically indestructible – I dropped one from my bunker shelf, and it didn’t even flinch. My toe, however, is still recovering.
Also, let’s talk about morale. Nothing says “we’re gonna be okay” like a row of nicely stacked mason jars. It’s like Pinterest, in a post-apocalyptic era. I might not have electricity or running water, but darn it, I’ve got Instagram-worthy storage.
Bonus: They double as cups, bowls, candle holders, makeshift lanterns, and probably, if necessary, a weapon. Take that, zombies!
In short, 10/10 would hoard again.

They’re mason jars, the lids fit, I’m happy.
I guess my one complaint might be the etching on the jars making it difficult to place a label on the glass. It works, it just looks a little weird.
