This is a waste of money! This is usable to install a base system of Manjaro that will neither update or add new software from the official Manjaro Software repository, during software install it returns a message saying the installed system is “corrupted” It installs with 872 updates needed and will not install any due to the system being corrupted. Well at least I got a cute little USB key drive for my $20. smfh AVOID these thieves!

The delivery included a booklet that aided in bypassing the regular log in in order to load the Linux OS

Liked having various distros. The “installer” menu was not recognizable by me. I was looking for “.isos”. I was planning to “dual boot” with a Windows 10 laptop and could not get the installer menu to find the laptop. Not the provider’s fault this is mine I’m going to keep trying I’m just too old and I’ve had a stroke. Lol provider did good Amazon did good everybody did good it’s just I’ve had a stroke.lol

Let’s see. $140 for Windows 11, paying monthly for word processors that used to be free, uploading personal information to the cloud, and billing you for it. If you don’t check things, One Drive will erase your files. I bought a WAV/Link to copy data and remove photos and game saves before One Drive could erase them. I like Firefox, which doesn’t fill your life with eight years of Trump campaigning unless you want to look for it.
I still like Windows, but the first month of “support” is a dollar, and every month after that, I pay $55 for each month; I might not need support. The money I saved by avoiding MS support allowed me to buy a thousand bucks for medical backpacks to aid the Ukrainians in their war with Russia. If you do not take care of your allies, they won’t be there for you. The same applies to Microsoft. So don’t price yourself out of a monopoly. Not all of us can afford you. We will leave.

As a Newbie I thought it contained all of the Linux flavors and all I needed to do was to select one and it would install but it is more of an Erector set with all the pieces needed to build the desired flavor. However, if I continue to use Linux, I expect that I will become familiar with those bits and know what they are used for.
