This is a great food for everyday and to store for when needed! Easy to make too. Highly recommend it!

Big fan of prepping for emergencies and whatever else that may impact food supplies. I buy from Augason Farms regularly. I have never had any major issues or concerns with any of their products. Sellers yes, products no. I buy emergency food and tuck it away. I try to buy when on sale because I am basically buying food and not eating it. I rarely get into it, or rotate it. If I am buying from Augason farms, then the packaging is just fine for super long term storage (10-25 years depending on the food item). I get the occasional dented can (this one was fine), and it makes no impact. It isnt like other food grade cans where the can is breeched. These cans are made to withstand floods and other crazy stuff. They float, did you know that? Sometimes I will get into a can early if I bought it on sale and it is same price or cheaper than non long term storage equivalent (recently I experienced that with powdered butter. My usual bagged brand was more expensive than the sale price of Augason powdered butter.. stuff like that).
Anyway, I like the corn to be consumed as is, tossed in a big bowl of salad, or rehydrated when used in soups or as a side. Not my number one prep item, but it does add variety.
Occasionally I see people post reviews that say they got an expired product. But they never show a picture of the date they are looking at. The cans show the manufacture date first and foremost, then follows the best by date many many many years in the future. If they got an expired product, then do the math. That means the product would have been made 10-25 years ago. I mean, maybe. Lets see the label. They change the look of their label on occasion. So anyway, I am always suspect of those reviews. I just think they arent reading it right, and if it was legit they would post a pic of the can.

For a product in long term storage it reiterated with good flavor and never would I thought it was a dried product

I have four green cheek conures who LOVE THIS!! It’s the perfect training treat or treat in general. Not to mention a delicious, healthy snack for us humans too. I buy this every month and love the quality of their freeze dried veggies as a lot of other brands have lots of corn ‘dust’ in them, unlike Augason Farms freeze dried corn!!! You have a customer for life 🙂

I’ve always loved the taste of dried corn, and when I randomly looked this up, I found this great deal! This was half the price of other brands I’ve looked at, so I went ahead and bought two. It was supposed to arrive about two and a half weeks from when I ordered, but then it arrived nearly two weeks early, and I live in a rural area, so the shipping generally takes longer. I opened one up, and tried some, and it tastes good, as far as dry corn goes. I’ve read other reviews that have claimed there is a lot of “corn dust” at the bottom, but after using a lot of the corn, I checked the bottom and didn’t see any at all, so overall, very satisfied with my purchase, and it was a great deal!
Edit: I ordered a second set of two of these, and they too arrived early, and of the same quality I enjoyed with the last ones. There was a very small amount of the “corn dust” but nothing worth complaining about, and that’s basically unavoidable. Anyway, I’ve had very good experiences with this brand, and so I would recommend them. The great price and the quality of the product are both some of the best you’ll find. I would-and did-buy from them again. If you’re looking for a place to buy freeze-dried corn, I can’t recommend this brand enough!

I am n food stamps and use to eat nothing but burritos romin noodles and TV dinners. But since I found the freeze dried meals and foods I have been living much healthier.
1 bag f usheoos last several nths 1 can of peas lasts 1 month r ore and ou don’t have to have a big freezer to store all your food. It tastes just like fresh out of the garden after you dehydrate it and unlike opening a can of regular peas you are not waisting half the can because you didn’t need that much or afraid your freezer pease with get freezer burn before you use it up. I spend about $14 to $20 a can and it lasts all month if I eat peas every day longer if I don’t. How much does it cost you to buy enough traditionally caned or frozen pease fr 1 month or more I will tell you it is more than $17 to $20 a month and then you end up waiting some of it and spending money t run a extra freezer to store it not me. And I a medically healthier than I ever been and able to eat more meals a day then I was able to before. Freeze dried foods are a healthy alternative if you can’t grow your own garden last longer than traditional caned food and frozen foods and is easier t store. And the full meals are a quick and delicious dinner option for those busier days.
Try it you won’t regret it all you need is water and a place t cook your meal.

It’s just like corn on the cob, without the cob. I use it for anything that calls for corn. Soups, salads, I even put it in with my scrambled eggs. It’s really sweet and has a good corn taste.
