To start with, remember that this is a drinking water hose and not a garden hose. Drinking water hoses are typically more prone to bending and kinking because they are not as rigid as a traditional garden hose. This is a trade-off as a traditional garden hoses will leach contaminants into the water as it is being used. I have a travel trailer, and have had other RVs and trailers in the past. In all of these setups I have used a decent number of different drinking water hoses over the years and they are typically annoying due to the bending and kinking, but something I just dealt with to have cleaner water.
All of the preamble to say, this hose is great! While not as rigid as a garden hose, it is much more rigid than other drinking water hoses I have used in the past. I have not ended up with any kinks or bends after a sizable number of uses. In fact it is slightly difficult to uncurl because it is so rigid which is a surprise compared to other drinking water hoses I have used. The ends are made of solid metal and very easy to use. I am planning to get a second hose and get rid of the other drinking water hoses I have.

Feel it might be a bit too soon to review the durability and stretch on this hose. I bought it to run water to an outdoor kitchen sink. I love the hose so far, so much so that I bought another. There is absolutely no chemical taste off the water through this hose – tastes just as though it would from the indoor kitchen tap. Would recommend and will likely buy more as required (over an acre of property with MANY gardens).

We are now on our 4 season and the hoses have been great and I’d like to comment about other posts.
This is first an NSF safe drinking water hose and probably not intended to suit all needs like super flexible, sitting in the sun. We use a large wall mount hose real and the host rolls up just fine for our purposes and I”m not expecting a miracle hose for $35. Truth is, I’m surprised they can sell the hose for such a low price. We continue to use a filter at the end of the hose to water our plants and to fill the bird bath and we really feel this has made a big difference to the birds and our landscape because the water is more like what runs through the pipes in the house vs the dirty water running through 50′ of a hose contaminated with who knows what. Taste the water exiting your regular hose and compare with this one.
The ends of the hose have been just fine and have not needed replacing, they are very well made. The manufacturer is a stand up company and if a hose goes bad right away (you might be pissed at the moment) give them a call because this hose is the best for certain purposes. NSF label and certification is a big deal–it’s worth googling. We only purchase items with NSF cert because they are simply safer and the NSF is a world agreement on which products are safe. I’m going off tract a bit, but you might also find that NSF products are cheaper than consumer products.
We are now going on our 3rd year with this hose and it’s been great for both the Birds and Plants. They say never drink of a regular garden hose – well if we can’t drink from it, why was I giving it to the birds and plants? I don’t know, but now I can say the bird bath is used often (by the birds, haha) and the vegetation around the house has also responded in a positive way.
This hose is NSF certified which carries a lot of weight around the world – I don’t purchase pots and pans unless they are NSF certified. Read more about NSF certification by asking google.
I would recommend this hose to anyone who needs a clean water hose for vegetation and critters. It’s actually been more durable than some of the regular hoses I’ve had in the past and plus it Looks Great!

This hose is durable but is stiff and has a lot of coil in it. Have used for 5 yrs 30 to 40 days in rv per yr and still like new. Just know its stiff but it is a very good drinking water hose. Would recommend.

I bought this hose in 2016 and now just replacing it 3 years later. I originally bought it for my garden and I also liked the color and price. It did kink after the first year and that got worse over time. For the money I think it was worth it for a decent looking hose that doesn’t look like an eyesore. I also like knowing it is safe drinking water that I am watering my vegetable garden with and not adding chemicals. Last time I bought 2 – 50 foot hoses and connected them. This year I am buying 4 so I have 100 feet on each side of the house. I also like that this hose is not as heavy as some of the other brands. My hoses are left out all year and I live in NC where we get everything from a lot of heat in the summer to snow in the winter. I left the hose on several times by accident and never had it burst. After this winter one has finally got a split in it. Like I said 3 years for the price, safe drinking water, a pretty color, and the weight being on the lighter side for this type hose is pretty good in my book.

Yeah man. I love these hoses. I bought a couple of them. Honestly, the water tastes like awesome spring water out of this sucker. Ice cold, I love it after mowing the lawn in the summer.. man, I really miss summer right now.. it’s cold and snowy here, windy and sux. But anyway, I bought a couple 50 footers, jus so it’s easier to disconnect, shorten, or extend however I want. The thing isnt kink proof, but it certainly doesn kink every dang time you pull it around somewhere. Very durable hoses so far. I havent had a single issue with them. I may buy another.. I’ll tell you this.. if I buy another hose, It will be this one. I don’t want no dirty, lead, unsafe hose. Even if you don’t drink out of it, i don’t want bad metal, or lead in my plants, or garden either.. or when kids are playing in the sprinkler drinking it. That’s mainly why I bought this. Just want to be safe, and healthy, and what not. I got kids ya know.. n maybe i want a nice safe cold drink of water after i down a 6 pack mowin the lawn. It just is what it is.
