Excellent quality cutting glove and far more capable than the fabric variety, that while perhaps more comfortable may not stop a cut.
My hands are not overly large but I do wear a size 14 ring on the ring finger, but I can spread out my fingers maximally and from the tip of my thumb to the tip of my pinkie on the other side, it measures 9.5 inches. My hand actually did fit inside this glove BUT any finger movement such as to grasp a green sweet pepper to slice it was extremely challenging. Simply, they are too small despite being labeled as XL.
I used this glove while slicing a lot of sweet peppers on a quality guillotine type slicer for prep to dehydrate them. I got through it but not in a pleasant fashion.
I bought the XL size, and I could barely function with them while NOT using the included cloth glove apparently meant to wear under the steel mesh. I could not come close to normal finger function limited by too small a glove.
They don’t offer one, but IF they did offer an XXL or XXXL size, it would have been ideal. As these are, they are GOOD gloves, design, mfg, BUT I’d suggest you get the next size up, and if your hands are anywhere near the size of mine…………. or keep looking for a bigger glove.

THE GOOD:
To be fair, the price is great, $15 for added protection if you can’t afford $50 for a proper “Chainmail Glove”, do it!
THE NOT SO GOOD:
1. To be clear, you’re only getting 1 mesh Glove! Not a pair. I was kind of tricked by the ad saying “2 pieces” but that was in reference to a thin cloth glove included with the single mesh glove you can apparently wear underneath. Not sure what you would want that for because it’s far easier after butchering to just wash your hands and not a cloth glove. A little Tip having been a former butcher, order some “Black Widow Nerite Gloves” to wear under this or any other mesh love. They are disposable, your hand won’t be soaked in blood and fat grease, you just toss the nerite when finished and Black Widow makes some of the best nerite gloves in the industry which I use all the time. These work “far better than the cloth glove provided here”.
2. Definitely order 1 size larger than what you are as these run small. I typically wear XL gloves but seeing this recommendation by someone else I ordered a 2XL and it is “very tight” making it difficult to use my hand. I’d actually ask for a 3XL if the option was available but it wasn’t.
3. The glove I received was “prickly” meaning there were loose wires poking at my hand. It could be just this glove but it’s not nearly as comfortable as a butchers “Chainmail Glove” which are a bit more expensive at about $50 for a nice one but I’ll be returning this one (you basically do get what you pay for in most cases).
4. Having formerly been a butcher and always thinking level 5 was the best, it was the advertising of this being a 9 that got me to buy it more than the low price. I had to do an AI Chat Lookup to see what the AI had to say about the 5 vs 9 issue and the result confirmed everything backing up exactly what I experienced above in lack of comfort and more so I’m going to copy and paste the AI Chat response of a 5 vs 9 here for you so you can make your own conclusion…
“In the EN 388 standard, Level 5 cut resistance indicates the highest grade and best protection against cuts from sharp objects. Gloves with this rating provide a high level of cut resistance and can withstand more severe cutting hazards.
However, the mention of Level 9 does not align with the EN 388 standard or any other widely recognized rating system. It’s possible that the Level 9 rating refers to a different rating system or a proprietary rating used by a specific manufacturer or organization.
To ensure you’re selecting appropriate butcher gloves, look for gloves with a high cut resistance rating, such as Level 5 under the EN 388 standard. Additionally, consider other factors such as comfort, dexterity, and specific requirements for your tasks to find the most suitable gloves for your needs.”
Hope this helps.

Just what I need and thank you

Just don’t chop your hands with this. It is cut resistant against knives, and hold up very well. The liner glove makes it super comfortable to wear. It is quite durable too with normal use.

Good quality, but size measuments seem off. Order bigger than measurement chart suggests.
