Two thumbs up! People complain that the bracket doesn’t fit and mounting screws aren’t included. The bracket does indeed fit. You have to put some effort into it, to get the strap to snap together, but it works, and your fire extinguisher won’t fall off, when bumped, or if it’s mounted in your car. If you get excited about it, a velcro strap could be added for some extra peace of mind. The other point, about the screws: I’m pleased that screws are not included. The included screws that come with stuff, are always junk and are never the right kind anyway. Just suck it up, and go buy the correct screw for whatever you’re mounting this to. The extinguisher itself looks great. The handle and trigger is made of metal. READ the return policy. Amazon has a pretty good return policy, but they don’t want these things sent back, which is understandable. I bought the 2 pack and did not experience any problems.

I bought the Kidde Fire Extinguisher for my home and am really happy with it. The 1-A:10-B
rating means it can handle different types of fires, like regular stuff that burns, liquids, and even electrical fires. This gives me peace of mind. The extinguisher is bright red, so it’s easy to find in an emergency. The instructions are simple to understand and come with a mount, making it easy to hang up. It feels solid and well-made, which is essential for safety. The dry chemical inside works quickly to put out fires. Kidde has a good reputation for fire safety, which made me trust this product even more. Overall, I feel safer with this extinguisher in my home. I recommend it to others!

I noticed like most the pins just sit in there, they must have listened to the reviews about the pins because there is a tag holding the pins in so they don’t fall out, I’m not shure if you can just pull the tag off or you half to cut them off, I’m leaving mine on tho.

Have used Kidde products for fire protection for years. They make good stuff.
Here is something to know about mounting these small fire extinguishers on the wall……..
Mounting the plastic bracket is a breeze. The extinguisher fits right onto the bracket EXCEPT,
the small straps that fit around the body of the small extinguisher. I bought four Kidde fire extinguishers, and the first one caused me to use a bunch of sailor language to no avail. I could not get the snaps to meet in the middle. I tried heating the plastic straps/snaps with a blow dryer. Didn’t work. Then I tried lubing the snap part of the straps with liquid soap. Didn’t work.
Then, I finally figured out, that a small to medium sized flat bladed screwdriver inserted in the strap with the hole in it can be used to pry the two ends of the straps together. The instructions don’t tell you this.
So, reread my note above before you try to install the bracket that holds the fire extinguisher to the wall, and you then try to secure the tank part of the extinguisher to the bracket. Will save you a few four-letter words and will save your fingers from getting bruised and scratched.

Great smaller size, good for catching an early start on a home, garage or shop fire. Easy to hang bracket with a built in strap to hold it, can even be mounted sideways with no worry about falling off. Easy to follow instructions right at your fingertips.

Our senior center recently had a Safe Home video and it was eye opening as to how easily and quickly fire can destroy your home. The Kidde fire extinguisher was featured and when i learned how reasonable it was price, well I immediately ordered six, well my two girlfriends and I ordered them. Cheaper to buy two at a time for kitchen or outdoor BBQ or elsewhere in the home. Very functional, easy to install or just have handy. I considered this a wise buy for peace of mind.

The Kidde FA110 Multi Purpose Fire Extinguisher was purchased on 2 occasions during June of 2022 for the price of $24.97 plus tax. The fire extinguisher is now available for $20.06 plus tax (November 23, 2024).
How does one write a review of an item that you hope never becomes essential for use? I’m not certain that I’ve ever had to use a fire extinguisher! In any case, this product was purchased twice for neighbors I encountered while in the process of giving long term care to a nonagenerian relative who definitely needed one!
Although there were fire extinguishers strategically placed throughout the residence, none of them were in the units of the residents. They were placed just outside the access door to the staircases of each floor. So, there were 4 extinguishers for 18 units. Each of these L&I mandated extinguishers weighed over 20 pounds. AND, they are relatively large and unwieldy…certainly too unwieldy for retired individuals…
especially when experiencing various types of infirmity, or ambulatory challenges.
The Kidde Fire Extinguisher is small enough to be inconspicuous when placed inside of most homes and apartment dwellings. AND, they only weigh about 5 pounds. So, unless the individual has very little strength, and limited mobility, these extinguishers are perfect for the individuals for whom they were purchased. I lobbied for each unit to have one…since there was always a smoke detector being triggered.
In any case, this product is a perfect gift for anyone occupying a dwelling of any type in which no fire extinguisher is present. It is especially suited for individuals with limited strength and mobility as full size extinguishers are relatively heavy in comparison.
Upon returing home, I purchased one for myself. Every home, garage, shed, and business dwelling should have these located in strategic places in addition to the larger models that are usually situated in public buildings. YOU should have at least one!
