I have used this kit only twice so far. However that was enough to realize that this a great product. An individual can use this kit for everything from cleaning weapons after range time, to building an AR from scratch. I really like this product and recommend it to any serious AR owner.

Everything I wanted . Makes building your AR much easier. Came with all the necessary tools to build and maintain an AR. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who starting out.Great price and great quality.

Kit has pretty much everything you need for building/customizing/cleaning your AR platform. The tools are pretty decent quality. The mag vise/station is great for cleaning. The torque wrench you get isn’t top of the line but it works and for the price of this kit you can’t go wrong. The roll pin kit is fine as long as you dont try to use any of them to remove taper pins for your A2 site, they will bend. The upper vise block doesn’t work as well on a4 or custom uppers…recommend you pick up the wheeler delta upper picatinny block. The bore guide is a nice touch and fits nice and tight. The little pin hammer is ok, again for taper pis, use a real hammer etc. The armorers wrench is a little awkward to hold but works fine with the torque wrench. Much cheaper then purchasing all of the enclosed tools

I am no gunsmith however this is a good starter set of tools and I have the confidence that i can tackle an ar build. The tools are also good with my other guns, it was a great buy. All of the tools are of good quality, they are not the finest of the fine, but they are no harbor freight (thank god).

The kit includes everything you would need to build an AR. The quality of the tools seems decent as well which surprised me. The gun vise comes in very handy. Overall a great product to have and a must for all armors

I’m building my first AR- I saw a lower for sale really cheap and impulsively bought it, and then started researching and ordering all the other parts. Since I’m not all that mechanically inclined, and since the thought of having the gun blow up in my face doesn’t intrigue me, I sought out some “expert” videos and web pages and such for proper assembly instructions and procedures. I saw this kit and even though I’ll never use some of it, I bought it. Fast forward to assembling the bolt catch assembly. You gotta get that pin in there. The instructions said to start it with a punch and then they show the guy trying to get it the rest of the way using a pair of pliers and a rag. Huh? I look in this kit and it has two specific punches JUST for this task, and a beautiful little hammer. The first punch has a hollow tip that holds the pin and lets you easily start it; the second punch finishes the job. Both of them are rubber covered so you can get a good grip on them and flat one one side so you can strike the pin perfectly. They are made specifically for this job– and there are a bunch of other tools in there, made for other specific jobs. When they say “the right tool for the job” this kit is full of perfect examples. It has a huge mat to lay all your stuff out on; equipment to hold and position whatever part or assembly you’re dinking with, and clear instructions on how to use everything. It won’t turn you into an armorer, but you will definitely have everything you need when you’re building or fixing your AR. I thought it was pretty expensive at first, but now I realize how reasonable it actually is. Highly recommend.
